Silk Scarf Marbling

Pigment dropped onto water, coaxed into forms that cannot be planned. You lay a silk scarf across the surface and lift it — the pattern is set in a moment, and it is entirely yours. Each one unrepeatable.

Workshops at Yugen are led by Eda and Miku. You arrive, you make something with your hands, and you leave holding it.

No prior experience is required. The materials are provided. The only thing asked of you is a little patience with the process — which, as it turns out, is usually the point.

Workshops run throughout the week and on weekends in the same space as the café. Intimate groups. Unhurried pace.
